Based on feedback from previous grant applicants, the LRAC Board recently reviewed and refined language regarding the “Need for a Project” portion in the grant application process. By doing this, LRAC hopes to make an even greater impact on the way awarded grants benefit their communities.

Over the years, LRAC has proudly supported a number of projects that showcase the strength and unity of rural communities across the Lake Region. One of these projects, funded by one of our 2022 Organizational Legacy Grants, went to a worthy cause in Clay County to create and implement five large-scale murals on behalf of Churches United for the Homeless in Moorhead.
