Jon Solinger received his BA in Art, from Minnesota State University/Moorhead. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibits continuously since 1987, and received several LRAC individual grants. His most noteworthy award was the Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.

A former LRAC Artist Mentor, Jon wants to contribute to the work of offering the arts to all people in the LRAC region, and making art both a meaningful & expected part of our lives, not a luxury something intended for another population. He encourages artists to tell their stories and express who they are through their work.
