Gail Hedstrom is currently the Director of the Fergus Falls Public Library after working for 25 years as the Director of the Elbow Lake Public Library. She has a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from St. John's University in Queens/New York, a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Indiana University East in Richmond/Indiana, and an Associate in Arts degree from Minnesota State Community and Technical College/Fergus Falls.

Gail has experience working with boards, fundraising organizations, foundations, city & county government, and served on both the Prairie Wind Players board & their Artistic Development Committee.

Through her participation on the LRAC Board, Ms. Hedstrom can help “contribute to creating a civil society, promote community engagement and serve the arts community.”
